We are excited to partner with Earth Guardians Africa for the 2022 International Climate Action Challenge and beyond. Green Team Academy will be working with their extensive network and guiding our teams in Africa to connect with training, collaboration, and financial resources.
Trinity Forest Service is a youth-led social enterprise in Uganda and our Tree Hero partner. For every contribution of $25 or more to Green Team Academy, Trinity Forest Service will plant a tree in the name of the donor. Our relationship with this organization began when they participated in the 2020 and 2021, International Climate Action Challenge events. Currently, Christopher Tumusiime, founder of Trinity Forest Service, serves on our Board of Directors.
Green Team Academy and SEED4COM, a non-governmental organization based in the Philippines, have been partners since 2019. We have supported projects such as tree planting with SEED4COM, and members of both organizations frequently speak at each other’s events.
We are proud to be an official 1% for the Planet partner. This allows us to receive donations of time, funds, and goods from participating businesses. We have received support from Glow & Gather, Patagonia, and other 1% for the Planet businesses.
